Bringing the traditional jukebox into the 21st Century

The Play Yours App modernises the concept of the traditional jukebox, allowing users to add songs to a music queue directly from their smartphones

The Challenge

Play Yours approached me to collaborate on designing a fresh brand identity and user interface for their new mobile application. The goal was to create an engaging and visually appealing experience that resonates with a younger audience, fostering stronger connections and enhancing user engagement.

The Approach

My inspiration for this project was rooted in the idea of seamlessly playing your music over Wi-Fi in a bar or pub. I wanted to capture the effortless connection between technology and social settings, where people can enhance the atmosphere by sharing their favorite songs. It’s about creating an intuitive and engaging experience that brings music to life in communal spaces.

The Result

The application was designed to allow users to effortlessly enjoy their music without leaving their seats. To convey this concept, I incorporated a musical note alongside a wireless icon in the design. I then crafted a unique, modern, and visually appealing aesthetic across all application screens, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
