Lindsey at The Outdoor Fitness Coach offers, as you might expect, fitness classes and training outdoors. Using nature as her running track, proven to enhance performance and happiness.
The Challenge
I was approached by Lindsey to help her design a logo for a new business she was starting, The Outdoor Fitness Coach. As the name suggests, the fitness training is all outdoors, using the elements from nature to get in shape rather than go to a stuffy gym. This has been proven to enhance performance and happiness.
The Logo
The logo needed to somehow capture the great outdoors in a unique and memorable way, but without being too literal and twee, as Lindsey wanted something that had a modern look. After a few revisions, we arrived at the final logo, which was created in an oval shape to represent a running track using elements from nature inside made in a simple modern style to represent the outdoors.
The Result
After the logo was designed, I developed some elements to enhance The Outdoor Fitness Coach identity to give it a unique and individual look. Taking inspiration from nature’s running track, I created some abstract landscapes using a sympathetic colour palette to give the feeling of sunrise when fitness classes occur.
